ITHS holds project fair

International Turkish Hope School arranged a project fair, the first of its kind, at its main campus auditorium in the city yesterday says a press release.
The purpose of the fair is to display various kinds of project works the students do throughout the year on different subjects on science, English, Turkish and the like to share their knowledge with parents, guardians and  the visitors. This is undoubtedly an idealistic approach of communicative and interactive learning.
Selected students from class 1 to class 5 set up their creative invention on the table and for the better understanding hung the literature on walls behind each model. It was really an exceptional experience for all to see brilliant project like flyover, which seemed so timely an invention in order to lesson the severity of jam over crowded Dhaka city, the brain disc that helps the thinking process, a generator that would help the city dwellers in this scorching heat , the interesting facts about insects, a microscope, a skeleton, a traffic post, a rose corner among many others.
There was the English corner with some models of corner with some models of castles, living things, maze, Robinson Crusoe’s house etc. Some wonderful related art works explained the models.
The Turkish corner came with a unique research. It made a list of words commonly used both in Turkish and Bangla. There were other programmatic works on the display.
The students were well-trained to explain their products and projects. Their enthusiasm was praise-worthy. Above all, the diligence of the science teacher Ms Betul is to be highly mentionable.
